Description : Post mills are so called because the body of the mill revolves around a post to take advantage of changes in the wind direction. In older times, the Miller would push the upper part of the building around, but latter, a smaller set of sails was added to make the process easier. This mill has probably been restored by local interest groups, since working post mills have been a rarity since the late nineteenth century.
