BR North British Type 2 (Class 21) Sound Package [01 Mar 2004]

Description : Although fictional (and I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has any recordings of these machines during their short lives), I think this sound package works well with the Class 21. Originally intended for use with East German diesels (!) and used with kind permission from the author, Werner Spieker, I've changed the horn sounds to give a UK-style 2-tone effect (of sorts) by use of the horn and bell keys (i.e. the space bar and 'B' key). For the horn sounds I'm grateful to Gary Price and Chris Baily. The package unzips by default into a "...TrainTrainsetcommon.soundClass21" folder, meaning that they'll automatically be in the right place for use with my class 21 locomotives. Note that my class 21s will, by default, REQUIRE this sound set to work properly. HOWEVER: IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DOWNLOADED VERSION 1.0 OF D6151, YOU DO NOT NEED TO DOWNLOAD THIS, AS THIS IS EXACTLY THE SAME SOUND PACKAGE. Version 1.1 of D6151, the version on uktrainsim.com since 29 February 2004, DOES need this package. The reason I've separated the sounds out from the loco is that I'll shortly be uploading new class 21s, which will use the same sound package, so it would be a waste of your downloading time for me to include the same sound package, unzipping to the same place, with each loco'! (Note by the way that I'm intending to produce a different sound package for the class 29s which are to come - watch this space!).
