Corris Railway British Railways Multipack [09 Apr 2003]

Description : Corris Railway was absorbed in the 1923 groupings into the Great Western Railway and then in 1948 into British Railways, however unlike other GWR absorbed lines such as the Welshpool Llanfair and the Vale of Rheidol it's locos and stock were never reliveried, likewise in 1948 the line was closed and the locomotives remained in Corris Rly brown. The pack includes Corris Railway Locomotives No.4 and No.3 in BR Black, as well as Tall-y-llyn Railway Locomotive No.7, in BR Mixed Traffic Lined Black. Corris Van No.6 (also bought by the Talyllyn) has also been repainted into British Railways grey to complete this pack along with Talyllyn Coach No.2 liveied in British Rail Carmine and Cream livery (which it would have carried.)
