Description : This is an activity for the SouthEast Route by Danny Gilbert WAL – Night Ferry (Down) The Night Ferry was an international sleeper train between London Victoria and Paris Gare du Nord (and later also Brussels). It was operated by the SNCF and the Southern Railway and, following nationalisation on 1 January 1948, the Southern Region of British Railways. The down journey London–Paris took 11 hours Winter timetable 1959/1960 Down Station Up 21.00 d London Victoria a 09.10 22.42 a Dover Marine d 07.20 05.34 d Dunkerque a 01.21 09.00 a Paris d 22.00 08.44 a Bruxelles d 21.15 You are on the footplate of Rebuilt BR Merchant Navy Class 35015 "Rotterdam Lloyd" approaching Denton Green at 60mph. Drive the Night Ferry onward to Dover Marine, where you are due at 22.42hrs.. All paths and points are pre-set. It will pay you to check that the Dampers are set to 100% using the "M" key. Please observe all line speed limits and any TSR's on the route today. Pop-up messages will instruct you further at Dover. Installation If you have created your own SouthEast Mini-Route, follow the instructions in the automatic installer. I have pointed the installer to – C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Train Simulator. Just amend the command line to point your own installation. Otherwise, use the .apk in the normal manner. Notes This activity was created on a PC running Windows 7 Pro OS, using MSTS Patch 1.7.1022 and Tsection38.
