Description : Glencoe V1.0 BETA Issued July 15. Please extract the zip file and refer to the readme doc for more info The route is ‘factional’ in that it is was proposed, but never gained political assent as follows: The Glasgow and North Western Railway (G&NWR) proposed a new line between Glasgow and Inverness broadly following the route of the West Highland Line but passing through Glencoe and then up the Great Glen. The G&NWR bill was presented in Parliament in November 1882 a but was blocked by the rival The Highland Railway. This route is a 'what if' 14miles of the route through Glencoe has been modelled with sharp curvature and a steep gradient of 1:40 to the summit at 1000ft. This is a beta and its my first route so there are flaws, see the route guide for more info. I am planning on extending it if it is well recieved Installation Install the GlencoeV1BETA.RWP files Note you also need to install the folling routes and asset packs as well Classic European Loco and Asset Pack http://store.steampowered.com/app/208300/ Note if you own any pre 2012 route like Bath Templecombe, Paddington Oxford, York Newcastle or have downloaded Hedborough North off Steam Workshop you should have these payware assets already. SAD- Altenberg Wildau Route http://rail-sim.de/forum/wsif/index.php/Entry/1285-Altenburg-Wildau-2-0-for-TS2012/ Click Herunterladen to download. This is one of the best freeware routes available and hosted on the Railsim-DE website. SAD makes some amazing assets which I have used extensively in the route. UKtrainSIM Freeware Packs http://www.uktrainsim.com/FreewarePacks/ You will need to download all the route building freeware packs as follows: Blocks-Lofts-Bridges #1 Clutter #1 Commercial #1 Foliage #1 Housing #1 Industrial #1 Railway Buildings #1 Terrain Textures #1 RSC AP Station Pack This used to be a free DLC on Steam but seems to have been withdrawn. Searching on the web suggests it may be bundled in earlier routes. Sorry I cannot help more than this. Optional Install Freedrive Locos For the Freedrive locos you will need to download all the rolling stock packs off the UKtrainsim website. Most are reskins of the Classic European Loco and Asset Pack.
