Description : Changing Faces 09 - Simply Un-Settled A very long scenario for the Settle and Carlisle 1975 route from Steam Workshop. Fully updated for TS2018 and the latest (final) version of this fine route. Please note the file includes a bin file to correct a buried signal within the route. Many thanks to Chaz Cozens for producing this fix, and to Stuart666 (route author) for allowing the inclusion within this download. Place the enclosed bin here overwriting the previous one (Your location for STEAM)SteamAppsCommonRailworksContentRoutesa599faf6-afa8-4fc2-a33e-7bce82cbd8c7Networks Loosely based on our previous steam scenarios "Just Settle for the Sixties" and "The Sidings are Back", but is now set during the late 1970's in line with the intended era for the route. Back to the era this version of the Settle and Carlisle represents best. This was the time of great uncertainty for the line, one thing that was notable was how the line still carried so much varied traffic, which otherwise would clog up the newly electrified WCML. A lot of extra attention was also stimulated by the sheer number of special trains the line attracted, encouraged somewhat by the Friends of the Settle line and other similar groups. Nothing quite so glamorous for you though today, although you will still pass a couple of those special charter trains... Starting from Skipton on this early September afternoon, get your passengers aboard for this summer timetable 'strengthened' service through to Carlisle, and supplying the former Midland express service with ongoing connections for the local stations. Stations called at today will all be shown in the information where appropriate, basically all of them bar one, it's now time to find out why it was also known as the long drag. Your power is the staple fare of a Holbeck Class 31.
