Description : The Great Central Railway Version 2 For TS2013 Welcome to the GCR version 2. And here's a list of changes and improvements: • TS2012 lighting added throughout the whole route(available in TSX mode only) • New track - with super-elevation at Kinchley Lane and track unevenness added • Improved signalling including the Swithland sidings signals • Minor scenery tweaks and improvements • Audio functionality added to the trackwork for the new EFX • New and authentic fencing added at Leicester North • Quorn and Woodhouse turntable added The Requirements and Dependencies You must have the following installed before installing and running the route: • West Coast Main Line North - Payware from Steam • Isle of Wight - Payware from Steam • Great Western Mainline - Payware from Steam (Not required for pre-TS2013 users) • Somerset and Dorset Railway - Payware from Steam (Not required for pre-TS2013 users) • UK Buildings Pack - Freeware from Steam The following UKTS freeware packs: • Blocks and Lofts • Clutter • Industrial Installation Start by installing GCR Version 2 Assets01 and GCR Version 2 Assets02 by dropping the assets file into your TS2013(Railworks) directory - usually C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommonrailworks or C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonrailworks - and overwrite when prompted. Then, either unpack the rwp file in this download manually or go to C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonrailworksUtilities and use the supplied package manager. Taster Scenario Supplied in this pack is a taster scenario for the Loco and Scenario packs to shortly be released. The scenario is appropriately entitled 'An Introduction to the GCR'. Payware requirements for this scenario: • Digital Traction Mark 1 Coaches • Digital Traction Teak Coaches • RSC 8F Pack - From Steam • Just Trains LNER A4 - for coronation observation saloon. One of the loco's from the loco pack is supplied to give you a taste of what's to come: Black 5 45305 You need to have the Jubilee pack installed for the smoke to work. Acknowledgments: The project to develop version 2 of this route was started by Manuel Sanchez de Jesús who started work on putting the TS2012 lighting in to version 1 of the route for his own fun. That inspired me to begin a dedicated TS2012(now TS2013!) version of the route. Manuel agreed to do the lighting for the 'master' version. So it's his lighting you see throughout the route at night. Thanks Manuel! Thanks to Kirk Heath who carried out the signalling on the original version. The signals still stand up well!! My thanks also to Antony Perks who added in the authentic GWR signals at Swithland and a couple of modifications along the line as well. Thanks to Jeff(JADSHome) who made a lovely job of the fencing around Leicester North station. Thanks to Stephen Gurney for the Black 5 and the custom steam effects.
