KRS US - Euro Container & Wagon Update Patch [29 Mar 2011]

Description : Whilst compiling the next pack for my Pictorial Library, which will include shipping containers etc, I found an update had overwritten some files, not only losing some textures from both newS & David's assets, but the textures on the 40ft default containers were not displaying correctly. As the assets for Railworks are now increasing in great numbers it is becoming more difficult to remember which assets that were direct reskin replacements of default items need to be reinstated from a backup. After experimenting with these specific assets I came up with this patch. This Patch has been authorised by both newS (Swen) & David Hossack It combines data found in both of their freeware addons. NOTE : IT IS NOT A FULL INSTALLATION it requires that newS KRS US-Euro Container pack v2 is ALREADY installed. The main aim of this patch is to install the assets so that NONE of them is OVERWRITTEN by a STEAM automatic update or when VERIFYING INTEGRITY of GAME CACHE. This is done by renaming some files and asset details & leaving the KUJU DEFAULT files intact. There are NO changes to either newS (Swen) or David Hossack's models or textures. A by-product of leaving the default files is to provide a few extra variants with Plain containers. Also each of the newS & default FSA Container Flat wagons will have two variants :- 1) Default Bleached (light) wagon. 2) David's Dirty Green (Dark) Freightliner finish. PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE RECOMENDED INSTALLATION STEPS WITHIN THE INCLUDED README. If you are not bothered re-installing backups after any STEAM update and the default items are not required then this download will NOT be of interest to you.
