Description : Un-zip the files to your desktop or other suitable location. (If you are reading this, you probably have already done this). Install the route file Kanturk_Newmarket.rwp with RW2 Package manager. Route includes two standard and two free roam scenarios. The 'Conection to Newmarket'scenario is a pasenger service from Banteer to Newmarket. The 'cattle train' scenario involves some complicated movements to form the train, including turning the locomotive on the turntable. A message appears after each instruction is successfully implemented. For those who prefer non-steam working, I have used a DMU for the Free Roam from Banteer (it never happenened in reality - the line was closed in 1964). Operations on Irish branch lines took place at a leisurly pace. The maximum speed limit was 40 for passenger services and 20 for goods traffic. Many of the points will need to be switched manually. Beware of the 10 mph speed restriction on the bridge over the Blackwater river. Using UK mainline default rolling stock on a route such as this is not very realistic. In due course I will try to provide some more typically Irish stock. Enjoy your Irish experience.
