| Description | : | Effie was the first loco built by Sir Arthur Heywood for his experimental Duffield Bank in 1875.
It is thought to be the first 15 inch gauge loco ever built. However Sir Arthur had far greater things on his mind
and Effie wasn't the most powerful loco, so he enlarged it to produce larger 0-4-0, 0-6-0 and 0-8-0 side tanks.
The fate of Effie is firmly within railway folklore, no-one knows what happened to her.
But happily a replica has been built and is now based on the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway.
