Mid East Plus DVD now available.
Tuesday 04 February 2014By PeterPeddlesden [Peter John Peddlesden]

Abstract:
ECML Kings Cross to York, Cambridge to Kings Lynn and Hunstanton, Hertford Loop and so much more.

Mid East Plus DVD Now Available

Brief Description -
Mid East Plus 1.0 is a considerable expansion of the original MidEastUK Route by Tim Court and is fully endorsed by him.
The upgrade continues north from Retford where it originally finished, now reaching Doncaster and York, including the Derwent Valley Line. The loop from Doncaster to York via Knottingley is also included so as to take in several of the Pits and Power Stations in that area of Yorkshire.
The North Midland Coal fields have been significantly expanded to include many more pits that were in place during the era which approximates from 1970-1985.
Further south there are significant additions of main line branches to Hunstanton in Norfolk and Skegness in Lincolnshire, with several associated rural branch lines. The Wisbech & Upwell Tramway made famous by the Reverend Awdrey is also to be found.
At the southern end of the route the Hertford Loop and parts of the North London Line and the now defunct Broad Street terminus add atmosphere to the suburban lines.

This long awaited DVD is now available from the CD Ordering screen.

Please be aware of the previous news item concerning the Mid East Plus Release on DVD.

Mid East Plus is supplied as a miniroute and for those users who like to use third party tools to access the stock and activities, this can be achieved by making changes to the registry entries that point to your Microsoft Train Simulator (MSTS) location with RouteRiter.

Here's a tutorial that explains how to make the registry changes to point to ANY MSTS MiniRoute or your main installation.
