Description : GWR Loco Sound Set - V1.0 A set of .sms and .wav files for 2 cylinder GWR Steam Locos, based on recordings of GWR Manor 7828. Orignal recording by David Baily of www.steamsounds.org.uk fame. Includes setups for dirveable (Player) and non-driveable (AI/Helper) locos. This Sound Set uses my latest development in loco sound set-up. This reduces the nmber of Streams required yet enables all internal sound to also be heard externally as well. Features the following:- - better beats per wheel revolution timing. - syncronised external view and cab view sounds - reduced volume level at lower regulator settings, allowing coasting to silence for Player locos. - squeaky con-rod and other steam loco sound effects. - rail joints sound effect for the Player loco wheels. - pitch shifted variants for a degree of variation to the basic sound. - AI loco's with these same sounds. - AI loco's that sound their whistle and/or wheelslip at random on starting way. - AI loco's that brake squeal on drawing to a halt. - AI loco's that sound their safety valves whilst stationary. - Aliasing to common.sound folders. This sound set uses the ClickTeam installer. Sound editing and sms scripting by Stuart Williamson.
