Description:An "au revoir" bumper size release from us of 12 regular plus 2 bonus version scenarios for the JT Western Mainlines route.
It's now time for a long break....

An experimental set of scenarios within a single blueprint where you have a selection of driving any of several trains within the single approx zone bounded by Severn Tunnel Junction, Bristol Temple Meads, Bath Spa, Weston Super Mare, Taunton, Tiverton Parkway, and in one case Exeter.
All drivable trains commence their duties at around 09.35 including any waiting time and most take approx the hour mark to complete your tasks.
There is a variety of stock to chose from, as in real life 2008 the ex-Wessex Class 150s are heavily featured. Please note that the individual scenes supplied may have a few individual tweaks as required.

Or you could be really brave, and complete your own services directly from the basic master (Blueprint) enclosed but with very high resource requirements. These will probably need a good knowledge of the Editor, and a few further other local alterations depending which service you pick to drive, so as such they are NOT guaranteed to work as they are....
The Master Blueprint has no pre-driveable trains selected

There are popups for each service but please do still consult the full instructions before commencing the drive. There might be the occasional TAB, so please be prepared for the unexpected.
Further instructions will be found within the file for the pre-made scenario briefings.

There are some minor known inaccuracies with the liveries for 2008. Arriva XC had just taken over, and Wessex had moved into the FGW group. However many ran in the older liveries for a few years. Several of the Class 37s and 47s used had gone for scrap by then, and of course a couple such as the DBS 47 and TPO NSAs are just for fun. We also spotted a duplicate Wessex 150, but hope you won't notice..

A final note regarding the concept of this collection.
Our intention was to have all the driveable consists within the one scenario, but we soon discovered that the amount of services running the full time and length of the route was simply too much for the program to handle, leading to shortages of useable memory and the inevitable "creepers". Therefore we removed from each individual scenario any services which wouldn't be seen by the player, or shape traffic, and pre-created the selection enclosed. We also reverted to a more relaxed use of portals, as otherwise much of the AI would be running for up to nearly two hours.....
However we still believe that this concept is a first for TS2017 as there are twelve scenarios (plus two extra variations) and despite being nine weeks (200+ hrs of testing) in production, we may try something similar at another time in future.
Only a couple of routes have the same potential however, as the JT Western Mainlines does.

Not all assets are required for each scenario. Settle and Carlisle is only used for the "Logs" scenario and has an alternative Kuju based version. JT Class 20, FNAs, and Class 60 only appear in a few.

Enjoy......!
